Know-how and expertise

Machine learning
LITIS is expert in machine learning and pattern recognition. Its skills are essentially theoretical and algorithmic and relate to kernel machines, Markovian models, graph-based classification and model selection.

Intelligent vehicle
Acquisition, processing and big data management for intelligent transport

Multi-agent systems
Research focuses on decision making and interaction mechanisms between software and humans for the development of socio-technical systems. The proposed models for automated decision-making processes are based on reasoning models issued from artificial intelligence and semantic web.

Information technology and health
Research is carried out in medical imaging for prediction and therapeutic monitoring, as well as in bioinformatics to collect relevant information from biological data.

Combinatorics and algorithms
Combinatorial and algorithmic study of models of algebraic nature used for information processing (words, free monoids, automatons, etc.).

Collaborations
LITIS collaborates with leading international groups (Airbus Defense and Space, bioMérieux, ITESOFT, Orange Labs, Siemens, Valeo, Peugeot PSA) and with small companies.
It ties close relations with Argentina, Brazil, Canada, China, Malaysia, South Korea, Spain, the United States, Italy, Morocco, Romania, etc.
